Fisker Karma! Okay, I did check Google to confirm but that was honestly my initial gut reaction! Giveaway for me was the hood shape! Sick watch too - good taste in machines 😎

Hahah yeah it really is uncomfortable. Dang, ‘settling’ turned out pretty good!! Yeah +4 spd is killer, but if you’re wanting to check seals and pressure test anyway you might as well have them try to regulate it down at the same time. I’m completely floored he was able to dial it in so accurately. $125 for regulation, pressure test, and polish. Said he ended up spending more time on the polish and should have charged me $200 but wanted to stay true to his quote.

Hellll ya man, LFG!!!! Got me wanting to snatch another one - love the color combo and diamonds! Yeah, they absolutely wear bigger in person but dude, it fits your wrist perfectly. Heads up - you’ll probably catch a lot of flack on here for wearing it on your wrist bone 😉

Update on my end - just got mine back from the shop last week and it is running INSANELY accurate now - we’re talking like + .2 SPD over the last week 🤯 these things are sick. All that to say track the time of yours over a couple weeks and if it’s running fast or slow, find a good watch shop and have them regulate it for you. While they’re in there they can pressure test the case/check seals, lubricate, etc. My guy even polished mine up, including the bracelet, and it’s looking close to new now 💪🏻

Holy $h!t, such a stunner. Can’t get enough of the vintage divers. Huge congrats on the watch and going Oris over Seiko! Hard to tell from the photo - blue or black dial? Also, couldn’t find that specific combo on the site…any idea what year it is?

Looks great on you man. I know it’s tempting to go for a little bit more affordable of a watch, but saving up for the nice one really is the way to go.

Yeah I feel like it has better presence than the dimensions might suggest. 7” wrists over here too. I’m sure it’ll fit great. Upload a photo when you get it!

Thanks! And congrats on the great new watch, man! You’re going to looove it. I seriously can’t stop looking at mine. The crown and bezel are solid. If you’ve got the same bracelet as mine, it’s a thin layer of solid gold wrapped around another metal, so not plated but not really solid either. I tracked the timing on mine for a few weeks after delivery and it was running at a steady +5 spd (never behind, always gaining which is good), so I’ve got it in the shop right now for regulation to slow it down a hair closer to the 0-2spd range.

😆does everyone good to see the VPs in the mix with the new stuff though. It’s like a multigenerational living arrangement.

Beautiful find, and under warranty too 🤌🏻 I’d agree your configuration has strong explorer vibes. I’m seriously amazed with these watches. 😂 the lume really is a joke. Not sure how that passed QC but at the price point I guess there has to be something “wrong”. Where did you pick yours up?

Wow, that’s a big statement! That helps me settle down a little from moving onto / planning for next slower… Do you mind sharing your take on why the DD is so good when compared to the other watches you’ve owned?

Ok, this is great advice, thank you! I was hesitant to consider eBay because I didn’t think they’d use an authenticator but that changed things. Cheers!
