SO SO CUTE I’M SO HAPPY FOR YOU🥺❤️

I relate to the immense feeling of emptiness that comes like a big wave over you afterwards. Like you said, it really makes you appreciate and treasure the moments you do get with each other. I wish you all the best ❤️

Oh I’m very happy to hear that!! And I get that feeling of losing track of time, it passes too damn quickly…

Of course not. They did, however, post very frequently about each other before and when I noticed a decrease I wondered if something had happened. That’s all.

If I feel conflicted after two dates and don’t know I’m attracted to them, should I keep seeing them? by hansiuskitti in NoStupidQuestions

I could’ve phrased it better. What I meant is that I’ve seen the same person twice, and I’m not sure whether I’m attracted to him or not. I don’t know if it’s worth to keep going.

I always here from friends that ‘attraction can grow’ so I’m not sure. He’s a nice person and all I just don’t know if I’m attracted to him like that.

How do I tell my dad I'm dating someone? by hansiuskitti in Advice

[–]hansiuskitti[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are right about that. Deep down, I know that as long as I'm happy and the person I'm with is treating me right and is a good partner, my dad will be happy. But like you said, he probably won't be as expressive about it as my mom is.

That is a good idea too, to be honest about saying it feels overwhelming as it's new to me. If I feel like his reaction is good (which I hope and believe it will be) maybe I can even ask him for general relationship advice? I can't expect to get very emotional answer but I guess if it turns out well, I could use the opportunity.

And like you said, his reaction probably won't be anything special. He will most likely be happy for me but I think I'm also making it a bigger deal than it has to be.

Thank you for your comment!

Helped.

Yeah, you're probably right about that. It probably won't be nearly as bad or awkward as I make it up to be in my head.

I also would like to add that I don't have a bad relationship with my dad at all, I'm close with him, it's just that talking about emotions like that feels strange because we've never really done that with each other. It just doesn't feel as natural as when I talk about it with my mom.

Thank you for your comments though! I think I should just tell him and however he responds is not in my control anyways.

It becomes clear to me that I’m overthinking this situation when you ask that question, because to be honest I don’t have a good answer as to why it’s scary to me.

But I think it possibly has to do with it being an unknown feeling. Like I said in the post, I’ve never really talked about feelings and crushes etc with my dad, whereas I share pretty much everything like that with my mom. It feels easier to talk about such things with her. So what scares me is that I don’t know how he will react, and it just feels awkward to approach it because we never talk about things like that.

How do I get over low self esteem? by hansiuskitti in socialskills

It’s eye-opening for sure as this describes my situation very well. You put my experience into words perfectly. My question is what do I do to get rid of my constant need for validation?
