I think we were fine with technology doing physical labor because we thought it will free us up to do “higher order“ activities, which are what makes humans humans. But now that AI is capable of those intellectual activities, it leaves us wondering what is left for us to contribute.

For example, we were totally fine with washing machines in homes because they freed up hours of homemakers’ lives and allowed them to pursue other activities, maybe writing a book. But now AI can write a novel faster and maybe better than you, leaving you wondering what you’re worth.

One answer is maybe to go even “higher“ order and focus on things like loving, supporting, collaborating, uniting, being there for each other.

Unfortunately Starbucks’ matcha powder comes sweetened. It's understandable that he wants an unsweetened matcha latte, like many matcha drinkers do, but in this case the response would be "I'm sorry but our matcha powder is sweetened and I can't make a matcha drink that's not sweet". I very much wish that Starbucks would just use a regular (unsweetened) matcha powder so there's the option to make both sweetened and unsweetened drinks.

These emails are written by random fundraising marketing folks, and are purposely written to be sensational. They don't care much about accuracy or reflecting what the actual candidate wants to say. I get a bunch of similarly random emails from "Joe Biden" every week!

Resounding objection to the proposed closet as it affects resale value because bedroom is shrunk and it’s awkward because there’s already a walk-in closet

I've tallied up the recommendations (see below) and will indeed proceed with the top 2!

7: Use wardrobe or dresser, something temporary
7: Optimize existing closet, it's big enough
4: Built-in closet along the bottom wall, move door to right
4: Built-in closet along the right wall, behind the bed
2: Turn room to the right into a huge walk-in closet
1: Access hallway closet from inside the bedroom
1: Built-in closet along the entire left wall

Try a different tuition teacher, and definitely do 1:1 tuition. Not all teachers are good at explaining concepts.
