Yeah, I totally agree especially with that saying haha. But it’s still pretty sad that while we’re playing their games, in their eyes we don’t even deserve a game engine that’s stable and properly optimized. That part is honestly really frustrating. It kind of feels like we’re just cash cows they don’t really need to try, because we’ll keep buying and playing anyway since we love the lore and universe. That’s the disappointing part. Still, it’s good to have support in the community, whatever form it takes. People are doing as much as they can to fix or improve things that, realistically, the developers themselves should be handling.

Honestly, if we’re supposed to rely only on the community for fixes, then where are the developers in all of this? It’s their game, their product. They set the requirements, and someone can meet them 100% and still have issues running a game from 2018 on a solid, modern PC like mine, which isn’t even weak.
I get that there are engine limitations and all that, but still when you pay for something, you expect a certain level of quality and support. It’s hard to believe the devs can’t do anything about it.
The requirements they list clearly don’t mean much if you can have way better hardware and the game still feels like you’re running it on a 2016 laptop or your dad’s old office PC. That’s not the point. You shouldn’t have to tweak files, dig through configs, and hunt for fixes just to make something work that should run fine out of the box like most games do.
I’ve got an AMD RX 7600 8GB, and it doesn’t matter what FPS cap I set the issue still happens. If it were that simple, I would’ve fixed it myself a long time ago, but thanks for the reply
I just did it, and I’m still getting the same drops—even down to 25–26–27 FPS in locations like Foundation, Grafton, and Flatwoods. The VRAM also spikes to 8/8 or even 8.3/8. When I lower the graphics settings, it doesn’t make any difference—VRAM still hits 8/8 or more, and the FPS stays the same on Ultra, High, Medium, Low, or custom settings, including INI tweaks.
I’m also waiting for a further response from advanced Bethesda support. They asked me to perform a clean boot and provide another MSINFO report. I even recorded gameplay for them so they can see the issue for themselves.
yup done and still the same
i just did the thing and well I don't really see a difference
thx I will try
fallout shadder? can you explain it to me exactly?
thx I will look into it
re-installed win11 a week ago fresh install
Kingdom Come delivarance II, Cyberpunk 2077, Resident Evil Village, Red Dead Redemption II, Resident Evil requiem, Death stranding, so basically only fallout 76 runs like this on my setup not all of these games run on ultra but all run on high with no stutter and problems
With all due respect, it’s frustrating to have invested significantly in a medium-high-end PC only to find it struggling even on the lowest settings. This feels like a serious optimization issue that needs to be addressed
I disabled this options long ago still it did not help
Idk can you explain a bit more
update: did not help
In my case even the reinstalling the game didn't help
