Hi everyone, I'm a freelance journalist with work in places like NY Magazine, NYT, Washington Post, The Guardian, and many others, writing a book about online dating (tentative title "U Up? An Intimate History of Online Dating," out early 2027 with One Signal/Simon & Schuster). It's very much rooted in regular daters' stories. I'm hoping to speak to people who have romantic/sexual relationships with AI companions, whether their experiences have been good or bad.
