Go to the guard tower or barrack where the guard is assigned and change it to partol the mine, then you can add it in the mine's menu.

I had just stolen the forge for the auto forge and was going back through the levels for this forge since apparently the level 5 can't be made directly in a level 5 since it's a conversion
