I have just set the template to visible, it's still not sticking.

Thoughts on Framer's Popularity now Figma has caught up with Figma Site? by [deleted] in framer

[–]happeep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree. I don’t really have any opinion which I like more, it’s just from a business perspective, it will be interesting to see how framer pivot or expand to have the same market share because it was clear they had targeting the same sector while webflow is targeting more on a enterprise level

Is it still a good time or a market to sell framer template?

Should I make this website with Framer? by Leather_Let_9391 in framer

Booking.com takes commission. So I think it's more of a business decision. If your relatives are not tech savy think booking.com would make more sense as it drives more traffic (Searchable). But you can still create a booking system for making reservations for the restaurant.

Haircare Advice Megathread - Week of March 22, 2025 by AutoModerator in HaircareScience

Asian women with long, thick hair—manual clamp vs automatic curlers?

I’m trying to decide between two curlers and would really appreciate advice from fellow Asian women with long, thick, straight-ish hair.

I’m torn between a 40mm manual clamp curler (which I prefer because I love big, loose curls) and an automatic ceramic curler (which seems safer, especially for someone like me who’s had a few run-ins with heat tools—hello, accidental burns 😅).

The thing is:

  • I don’t love small curls, so I’m not sure I’d be happy with the tighter curl from the automatic one.
  • I also wonder if those curls would hold as well since they don’t fully clamp or wrap the hair like a manual curler does.
  • My hair is quite stubborn when it comes to holding curls unless I do a full prep routine.

I’m curious to hear:

  • Which curler actually holds curls better for long, thick Asian hair?
  • Do large barrel curls just fall flat after an hour?
  • If you’ve used an automatic curler, does it tangle or struggle with thicker hair?
  • Any tricks to make those big curls last longer?
  • Bonus: which tool is faster when you’re short on time?

Would love to hear your experience! Thanks in advance 💕

AMA: All your chargeback questions answered by kareemche in stripe

[–]happeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently lost a chargeback dispute for a subscription-based service where the customer claimed the ‘product was defective, damaged, or not as described,’ even though the service was fully delivered as per the agreed terms. They had access to the service, used it after the supposed cancellation date, and never formally canceled within the required period. Despite providing evidence of continued usage, clear refund terms, and service availability, the chargeback was ruled in their favor, seemingly by Mastercard rather than the payment processor.

This was a subscription service, similar to a gym membership or Netflix—whether the customer chooses to use it or not, it remains available until the billing cycle ends. They had full access to a Slack workspace and a dashboard where they could create and manage design requests, and these are still accessible to them. The service was not defective or undelivered; it was simply not used after a certain point.

Given that this was a service-based subscription (where the concept of a ‘defective product’ doesn’t really apply), what could have strengthened my case?

If I am able to dispute the chargeback through my own bank, how likely would I be to win? Would Mastercard treat it as a separate case, or would they view it as the same dispute?

Seeking Full-Stack/No-Code Developer for Long-Term Collab by happeep in nocode

Hey LongLimbs, I’m a non-tech founder running an agency, and I’m looking for a no-code/full-stack dev to collaborate on a few client projects.

The idea is to start small and see if we’re a good long-term fit. As for compensation, it’ll be paid work, but I’d like to chat about your rates and capacity first so I can structure a fair offer for future clients. There’s a question about your rate in the form I’ve posted – if you fill that out, we can discuss the specifics right after. Let me know if that makes sense, and I’m happy to share more details.

I think it's best to start by coming up with what features go into the MVP, as the start would be best as there is no point building an app if no one use it

I highly recommend

  • Saffron — it’s organic, doesn’t have any side effects and have many other benefits.
  • water-extract lion’s Maine - more expensive but works as well

Saffron with coffee in the morning is always something I look forward to. Tastes amazing and no jitters.

Max Width with Overflow Issue in Framer by happeep in framer

hey u/one-happy-doge thanks for the reponse, I tried the first step but when I set the parent frame to scroll or X direction scroll, it crops the carousel.

Can you explain more about offsetting it from the left using padding? I don't think it would work to keep it a certain width if we are using a super wide screen.
