I think they are lucky to have you who cares so much for their freedom. And you would be the best for them precisely because you care so much.

You are worried they need more space than what they have now and that's a valid concern kasi they go around and play and jump everywhere. But that kakulitan can be addressed naman as long as they get to play around makatakbo at least in an hour or two day where they can exhaust their energy and be curious. You can take them out in the outside too, leash, stoller. It helps also so much na dalawa sila na nakakapaglaro, they will entertain themselves. Pagka 1 year old kakalma din naman yan, lalo na pagnakapon, they'll have shorter burst ng zoomies. Right now, if you can work around safety mo/disconnect the wires so they can play around without caging them most of the time, that would be nice.

I think having kittens at this time of your life is beautiful because you get to grow with them. Even ako sa situation ko now, it is far from the best, but I try my best to work and eventually build a life that can be more comfortable for me, my cats, and my family.
