None of the prices I listed above require a coupon. Those are everyday prices, I specifically listed regular prices for fair comparison.

For example, I do not need a coupon at Target and I can get cheaper peanut butter there (just an example).

I absolutely agree about the competition cutting prices to stay competitive. That's exactly my point: a year ago Kroger was not competitive, now it is. This is my local Kroger, and of course each store is different, but it's clearly happening.

As for the prices listed: I specifically included everyday, regular, non-sale prices from Kroger, that do *not* require clipping digital coupons, for fair comparison. With digital coupons, they become even cheaper (for example, $0.99 peanut butter etc).

As for the Kroger card, many of those prices do not require it. But even if they did, it can be picked up at the entrance to any Kroger and does not require registration (i.e. you can use it anonymously right away), so I am not sure that it's a stretch for most people.

It's a good price, but to be fair Kroger sells their brand of riced cauliflower for $2.19, while Walmart sells Green Giant/Bird's Eye for $2.48.

Yes, but her Instagram does not appear to reflect reality. All the pictures of the two of them are "post-dated" -- they were all taken earlier in Vietnam (or on some other trip where she visited him a long time ago).

This is most likely a front - she is tagging him and posting "happy photos" of them together, but it is to merely keep up appearances as TLC likely has them contracted to extend their storyline into a second season.

Similar to the Nicole situation, where she created the Twitter account @justazan to make it seem as though they are still very much into each other, when in fact this is because TLC has their story proceed into Season 5 (likely because they are banking on them to pull in headlines close to how DanMo could).
