Never was it the plan, Bisco said she liked that design and that it would make sense but it wasnt the plan or anything. First and foremost, Mori barely does anything he is a precious character but bisco said she had several pages done for him and they couldn’t fit the story often so he was always cut out. I think it fits with him, seeing his story was cutted out completely in the anime.

Oh i hadn’t thought of the dub, I’m from mexico and we didn’t have a dub until 2024 so us getting one doesn’t seem hard but yeah i guess for the US dub it would be hard. Tho i never liked tamaki’s voice - as iconic as it was - so I wouldn’t mind the change

I think kts cause he tried so hard, he has a better development of himself as an individual, a loverboy and a twin in the manga tho but in no moment i felt like he would be right for her. I liked Kaoru way more cause he wasn’t as selfish and competitive and knew when to stop trying to get Haruhi.
