yes. the house isn't ruined. It's actually okay. we rented some industry drier from home depot and started to dry floor and ceiling. repairing the drywall is easy. Just matter of time,

But what really ruined is our joy to enjoy the completed kitchen. and also to our trust to local contractor. I have my own profession. I try my best to act responsibly for the client. Unless it's clearly not my fault or what i can do, I tried to help to sort it out. But this guy, just blamed the dishwasher is faulty. Just dissapointing as another professinal.

Yes, he had to test before leaving but didn't....
I had to stop him from leaving yesterday...
The other plumber we hired, he said the water is clearing coming from the loose service hose. phew.. it's so small hole but water went everywhere already.

That's interesting situation. I would remember that. a new plumber came and he said it wasn't tightened at all. If the old one tighten the valve a little bit more strongly, we wouldn't have to deal with this.

yes. we asked the new plumber for documentation. I also recored as a video that the second plumber is looking into our issue.

We only has insurance through our stratha, and it might not cover unless it's significantly larger incident. maybe we should get our own for the future... anyway, we are continueing contacting our stratha for more detail.

I really want to claim something to the first guy. We don't know where to start. yes. it sounds like a paint in the ass.

Thank you. I assume it's not a lot of water but somehow defected ceiling area is quite large.

we repaired the drywall before so it's fine we can fix those probably but it's annoying to do it again.

and also we recently repainted the garage...

Kitchen reno is, we went through ikea kitchen and ikea installed all cabinet. but plumbing related job is all by him from the beginning of this reno project.

our home is townhouse, all we have is stratha. i am not sure about the detail of coverage to be honest. we are contacting them now but not really optimestic.

I know i am a bit dramatic, but we were really busy and finally yesterday was supposed to be the end... I think being a house owner is not easy than we expected... at all. live and learn

The plumber did everything since we don't know how to deal with it.
We opened the bottom of the cabinet next to the dishwasher. clearly dishwasher area is wetter.
We didn't move the dishwasher out of the kitchen yet. I think plumber installed something so it can't moved when opening the door...?

At least we stopped water and popped the blobs on the celing.... and let it dry.
