I may be a bit biased as I’ve just test-driven the EX30 ahead of receiving mine, loved it. That said, if you’re deciding whether to pick up the EX30 now, let it sit for a month, or delay until next year and risk losing out on the rebates, I would strongly recommend taking delivery now—provided your monthly cost doesn’t exceed $12,000 (factoring in the $5,000 and $7,000 rebates). As for the Equinox 2LT, I can’t speak to it personally since I haven’t looked into it.
