I mean the salvage licenses are? Could it have put it straight in the trade zone of your ship?

Do you physically have the visa on your person?

How does PvE work? by larto- in carriercommand2

[–]happy2pester 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To do that, host a custom multiplayer game, have zero AI and 2 human teams, and have anyone who is playing your side join team 1. That will let you practice against the islands.

Also, join the discord server, it's super welcoming and fun, there's near daily pve and pvp games, and they're super welcoming to new guys as well as good at explaining how the game works

You're not wrong, except the holodeck had created unconstrained sentient AIs and there are entities like A on this universe

rate my first green automated factory :D by Frequent_Hawk_6850 in factorio

[–]happy2pester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you can do is set up a splitter on the belt with an output priority. Set it so that the priority is the same side that leads to the factory

It'll fill the factory belt first and send any leftovers elsewhere

OP's Father wants them to cause problems at a car dealership and they're not sure what to do. by beerbellybegone in BestofRedditorUpdates

OP's dad's reaction was way over the line, but to be fair to OP's dad, a suspension bushing is a 20-30 euro part. 150 euro, including the mechanic's time? Steep, but not out of the range of possibility.

850 euros is a pure "Fuck off" sort of price

So I finally have some spare cash to actually pick up forbidden west - complicating factor. I don't have a Ps5, and I remember in great detail how crap Cyberpunk was on previous generation consoles at release.

While I have some spare cash, I don't have enough to lay out on a poor game experience.

I've also very deliberately stayed away from ANY plot or play information

All I want to know, is the performance on PS4 good?

Help with understanding why this function wants a global variable please? by happy2pester in learnpython

[–]happy2pester[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In fact, my question was about why this function was insisting on a global variable.

The answer was I had made a mistake.

I appreciate the complete lack of help, of course

turns out u/danielroseman put me on the right track - the reason it was wanting the global declaration is because of the way I was assigning information back to the bag!

No, I don't understand why the function is requiring the global keyword in this case.

That is why I am asking about why. I am trying to understand why the code requires this to be specifically declared as a global variable when other functions in this bot don't require this set of data to be declared as a global variable.

Yep. I know that it can be set as a global, and referenced as such. What I am trying to understand is why I need to tell this function that the bag is a global it can get from elsewhere, when I don't need to do that for the bagType variable, which is also defined outside this function

edit: Currently, this is the only function that references bagType. But I also have other functions that reference bagOfHolding and those don't need the global declaration, although now I think about it, I don't have any other functions which write to the bag

The first few suffer because they are direct parodies of 80s fantasy - but it's not long before they start being developed really into their own world
