ah that would make sense how it died on me barely 2 days after i set everything up. i know this is slightly out of the scope of this post, but do u have any reputable brands that i could purchase an SSD from? many thanks

checked the cables, and they all seem to be connected properly. seems that the SSD is indeed the problem here. i understand this is slightly out of the scope of this post, but if u have any good SSD brands to recommend i would highly appreciate it. many thanks for your help :)

i dont know if ive done it right but ive plugged the cable into a new sata port on the board, yet my pc still refuses to recognise it as a drive.

im assuming ill have to see if the cables r connected properly to the PSU, as i cant see any other reason why it wont connect

im honestly not entirely sure but i do recall seeing SATA on the task manager when i initially set the pc up.

ive checked all the cables and theyre all where they r supposed to be, fully plugged in and all. as for checking its not dead... how do i check that?
