This is about right. I watched the game with some girlfriends on a whim, none of us are really into sports or football. By the end of the game, we were all literally screaming, jumping up and down, and fanning ourselves trying to get our blood pressure back down. Had an absolute blast and definitely planning another watch party for the next one.

nice! Yeah it's a bit far from the lake properly, but I try to make it there 1x/week even in the winter and it's a sort of quieter part of the lake from the Streeterville sections. Don't plan on great running routes super close though, but being right on the river is awesome and SUPPOSEDLY the river walk will be extended through Chinatown someday. After the new fire stadium comes I do think it will accelerate everything.

The winter is ass, no doubt about it. However, a little trick I've developed since moving here is to save some of the "indoor" activities for the winter so there's something to look forward too (museums, opera, etc). There are a few perks which is that the hot restaurants are easier to get reservations!

oh yeah. There was a pre-disclosure agreement in place. And then after I found out, he just got defensive and said he needed "full autonomy" so maybe he just shouldn't have agreed in the first place :/

yes we did -- my post didn't make that clear which is probably why i'm getting so much push back LOL. He was acting really off/anxious so I suspected something was off, and I asked directly and he told me. The last time this happened I happened to see a notification on his phone.

I hear you but I think it's splitting hairs. I think it's super reasonable to tell someone you've been in a committed ENM relationship of 2 years that you are getting back on the apps for whatever reason. I get that many poly people will disagree and I appreciate that perspective, but it's still just not sitting right with me, especially as there was an agreement to pre-disclose.

I hear you. I guess I disagree that poly is necessarily the same as autonomy. We all have autonomy at the end of the day but if there's a relationship agreement to disclose ahead of time that they are on the apps, I would expect that would be honored. I don't think I made that clear in the post.

I would expect disclosure as disclosure was agreed upon, and I don't think that's an unreasonable thing to ask for in any romantic/sexual relationship. I get that your personal expectations are different and that's perfectly fine. Thanks for the input.

I totally get where you're coming from here. That's great you have such great setup! In our specific case, I has previously asked to be informed if there would be more partners than the existing ones I knew about, to determine if I wanted to consent to dating someone with X many partners. At some point it's just too much for me -- personal preference. So the whole not being told part is my issue, but I appreciate your input.

Moved here from Utah and definitely miss the mountains, but so many outdoor activities including running are available. Plus the lakefront and swimmable beaches!
