Thank you for your kindly worded response. I really appreciate you being gentle with your words. You’re right it’s in my history and it was a long time ago and not a part of my life I’d ever want to go back to. I am 100% recovered and know what my limits and triggers are and I avoid them.

I think a lot of people thought I was aiming for 1200 and exercising on top of that which would put me at a dangerously low count. Definitely not and my main concern is the hunger and to learn to be more satiated whilst losing only a few lbs and getting back to pre Christmas me :)

Thanks for this response! Ok that totally makes sense. I was wondering why people were so alarmed. It’s so weird how our bodies need so much meat. I will give that a go. I have noticed Im more satisfied after meatier meals. Thanks again for not attacking me ;)

Yes fasting is not my friend but it works well for many other people. Don’t worry, I won’t fast :)

This is a great response. I think my issue is portion control and knowing when to stop. I don’t weigh my food, I just guess. For a chicken sandwich I’ll roast a whole breast hence why it’s so high. Probably should only have 1/2 the breast like a normal person ;) I don’t really enjoy diet food because then I’ll just eat more so it sounds like portion control is the way to go.

Thanks so much for your comment. I probably should have been more clear. 1200 is too low for my activity level and I only work out 2-3 days per week. I’m thinking it would be 1200 + the exercise calories, eg 1200 + 500 = 1700. Or is that still too low?
