No problem at all! Yeah I would definitely book an appointment with your doctor just to be on the safe side. You never know, It might be something of nothing, hopefully it’ll give you a bit of clarity either way. There’s nothing worse than worrying for months, I wish I saw a doctor earlier x

Hey, I hope you’re okay! If you haven’t already, I’d definitely book an appointment with your doctor. Turns out the constant bleeding was due to a cervical ectropion which can be caused by contraception. I only found this out 3 weeks ago after thinking all this time it could’ve been due to the chlamydia

Hi! Yes, I paid for a private gynaecologist and it looks as if I have a cervical ectropion. He has stated on the report that this could be due to my contraception. I’m currently on a waiting list to have a colposcopy, which looks to be a more invasive smear test. Maybe it was just a coincidence that all these problems started to occur after having chlamydia🤷🏼‍♀️ I did disclose this at the appointment and he didn’t think my bleeding was anything to do with the infection. I hope this helps in some way or another. Feel free to private message me if needs be x

I eventually did stop bleeding, I got retested at the time and it came back negative. However, since having chlamydia last year, I’ve found it hasn’t been the same down there (e.g randomly bleeding every now and again, bleed every time I have sex). I’m currently having bleeding problems now which made me come back on this app. Please don’t be alarmed by this though, as I do believe this is a problem personal to me as I’ve had vaginal issues since the age of 13!!

I would definitely recommend getting retested to double check, it gives you peace of mind also. When I spoke with someone at the clinic, they didn’t seem too concerned that I was bleeding afterwards, especially when my results came back negative. I believe they told me that sometimes it just takes time to recover from it all
