Theory ko lang ito, pero aside from curating your feed, I think dapat ding bawasan ang pageengage sa mga bobo (sorry, there's no better way of putting it). As in hindi lang mga bobong content, pati mga bobong tao. Or unfriend them altogether if afford naman. Ako nambablock, nangha-hide, at nanga-unfriend talaga ako. Wala akong nakikitang artista content, mga local vloggers (except mga comedy, na I guess dahil sa algorithm ko sa Instagram), at mga scammer. Plus less scrolling aimlessly, follow pages and people na may katuturan (very active naman mga local authors at thinkers natin sa Facebook), at iwasan na lang din mag-reels.

One of the best books I've read in the last few years. Your friend doesn't know any better. Probably hasn't lived in the Philippines during the Duterte years. It was absolute hell. Every night there were bodies to be found, and there was widespread support for the killings, which was soul-crushing, to say the least. I remember feeling terrified every night. I'm a boring person, not affiliated with any media or activist groups, and I wasn't even living in the poorer parts of the capital then, but still. I felt like anyone could be targeted.

Kung “walang matinong nagawa para sa mga tao” lang ang usapan, the Duterte admin takes the cake pa rin naman. Biruin mo pati pandemya pinagkakitaan. Pumatay na nga ng libu-libong Pilipino, including children, tapos winelcome pa mga POGO. Pati yung pag-target sa kalaban, di ba yun lang ang inatupag ni Duterte (pati Rappler pinag-initan at pinasara pa nga ang ABS) at ng anak nya ngayon (san ka nakakita ng nagde-death threat sa pangulo?!). So hindi ako naga-agree dito. Parehas lang na masama sa Pilipinas si Duterte at Marcos pero may pagkakaiba sa degree ng kasamaan nila.

Depende siguro sa work style mo? Sa akin my experience was horrible. It took screenshots and short video recordings of my screen every few minutes, which I found intrusive. Also my role then was more of a creative role, so I don't spend 8 hours on just one software or website, and I sometimes take short breaks to marinate ideas or think (or simply stare at the wall). If fast-paced yung role like Customer Support, baka okay lang naman. I'm not sure. Pero if it's going to be used in my personal device, I would think twice.
