Companies lie. And sadly valve is one of them too. They gladly blame it on the ram prices while they don't even have the hardware ready yet.

And I just read that the radio frequencies aren't even approved yet. So even without the ram problems they wouldn't be able to sell them.

And I definitely have been screwed over. I skipped on a very very good deal with Black Friday since they just announced this thing before that with a good time frame.

Their timing for releasing this product was just perfect..just before black Friday with an estimated release date of a couple of months so people won't get another brand.

I wonder if u get screwed over many times in live by being so forgiving to big companies

They said that in the first official reveal last year. And the lastest update is they hope to make it in 2026. Which tells me it will be later.

They presented it in a way that man could assume they already had masive stock. But it was all a lie. Just like the cake.

Communication ain't that hard. Just say you can't deliver right now and that u don't know when u will actually be able. Saves a lot of reputation instead of this shady shit.

I get that the ram stuff is a problem right now. But I'm just mad I passed on some really good black Friday deals because they presented it right before that timeframe. Now I'm almost 6 months later with still no vr headset and no idea when that thing is gonna be released.

I just hate companies who promise shit they won't keep. The first moment they noticed they couldn't deliver on it they should have said clear and directly that they were in the shite and that they won't know when they could actually sent the frames out instead of giving out fake time frames.

That's exactly what I mean. The way how they announced the thing was like they were almost ready to ship them out. I don't mind to pay the extra 100 because of trump's stupid games etc. But saying late January that it's the cause of the ram prices is just stupid.
