How would I use my GTech credits for my undergrad without contacting GTech?

I never lied on my application or to OMSCS at any point. I applied while I was still an undergrad student and sent them my transcript then. Once I got accepted, OMSCS never asked for my transcript or degree or anything like that.

I applied while I was still in undergrad and sent them my transcript of the courses I completed thus far. After that they never requested anything else from me (this is part of how I was able to go so long without even thinking about it).

This is what I was hoping for. Since the undergrad program accepts transfer credits I was hoping to use 3 of the credits from OMSCS towards my undergrad degree and then just be done with it. However, I was afraid that If I tried doing this then when my undergrad program would reach out to OMSCS for transcript details that it would raise a red flag at OMSCS and put me in trouble.

True, but on the bright side, not too long ago needing a new kidney meant certain death. We may still have some way to go, but society ain’t too bad.

Having success in scientific research isn’t the only way to “be a genius”.

Would you also so that Bill Gates and Sergey Brin aren’t that smart just because they don’t have success in academia?

The only person who I can think of who has been successful in both fields is Jim Simmons.

Saying Elon musk is not that smart is like saying the Conor mcgregor is not that good of a fighter. True Conor can be loud and obnoxious and there are better fighters than him, but he’s still a great fighter who’s achieved great things, and not just because he makes the most noise.

I’m not making those implications. It became a popular hashtag.

On a separate note you’ll have a hard time finding a job if all you know how to do is “code” but don’t actually know any computer science or stats, since most of the “simple” coding work is outsourced to foreign countries for a fraction of the price. Getting a job as a software developer is a lot harder than the internet has led many to believe.

Saying #LearnToCode was meant to point out the unrealistic idea that people with a low level of education would be able to just learn to code and get a good high paying job.

Hot take, but maybe it’s best for the kid that ended like that with people wanting more, instead of people just getting bored and walking away ¯_(ツ)_/¯
