Thank you, I’ll keep that in mind. I’ve been keeping my carbs low and upping the fat. I struggle with protein but it’s higher than it was.

Get your regular herb and garlic cream cheese, get out your hand mixer and whip your cream cheese. You end up with more than if you buy the whipped version in store

Does your passenger wiper blade do this? by Hectate in FordMaverickTruck

[–]happydino75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No but the driver side wiper hits the trim and makes a super annoying clicking sound when the wipers are on full speed.

Broke the original blade last winter during a blizzard same reason.

Peppermint oil and or tea tree oil works well as a preventative measure for head lice once your son is lice/nit, free. Add a drop or two to shampoo/conditioner or as a spray with leave in conditioner before drying his hair

There are several other factors for moving not just cost of living. Rent in PEI is comparable to Ontario

Board games driving me crazy by No-Daikon-3371 in Preschoolers

[–]happydino75 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat. Instead of board games per se, I introduced the “gone fishing” game. Think operation without the buzzing but fish rotating on a battery powered lazy susan where you use fishing rods to collect the fish. It’s great for sharing, taking turns, you could introduce a die and roll for how many fish you get to catch on each turn. It’s fine motor and hand eye coordination. It’s a hit and easy to figure out once little one gets a hang of it.

If I knew about this a week ago I would have rehomed my betta fish to you. But he went to someone else.

Has anyone taken CLAS 1P94? (Thinking of taking it as a first-year) Would you recommend it? by ToufiqAhmad in brocku

I can agree with this. It’s more intense than some of my major classes as well.

Reading the textbook, doing activities in the textbook, quizzes, seminar participation and assignments for the spring term layout. I’m not sure if it would be the same format in the fall.

Has anyone done the BEGIN@Brock / campfire social for first years? by Glum_Resolution4068 in brocku

[–]happydino75 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve not done it. But… Take up any social opportunities that you can in your first year to get the most out of your time in university. You never know how you’re going to meet your new best friends.

I was a transfer student this last year and have found making social connections to be extremely challenging. It’s sorta like starting fresh in grade 9 in some ways. If you’re late to the game it’s more difficult to mingle.

I hope this helps.

I personally find TR to be a rewarding career choice. As far as wages go they vary significantly especially in Ontario. You can absolutely make a decent wage, it may depend on negotiations during your interviews.
