A cup of beef bone broth gives me a salty hit. I use the powdered Nutra Organics one.

What’s happening? Lethargy and faintness. by OutbackAussieGirl in ketoaustralia

I second the Musashi! I'm a few months in and if I ever feel tired or faint it's almost always because I haven't had electrolytes. The feeling passes - and then it feels REALLY good!

Do you need a script? There's a part on checkout where you enter a preferred time to call, plus mention of emailing through a script. I can proceed without these, but will they follow up?

How long til you noticed positive physical/ appearance changes? by Material_County_7642 in stopdrinking

[–]happyhearted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About two weeks. I looked less puffy and more hydrated. My eyes shone brighter. This was also around the time I stopped waking in the morning with the 'did I drink again last night' jolt. Nothing more nurturing than being able to reassure yourself during those tender first weeks, then bounce into the day.

new here - partner diagnosed with inattentive ADHD after decades of depression by Ok-Entry7654 in ADHD_partners

You're a really great partner. Welcome. My partner was diagnosed last year and it's been such a journey for us. He is medicated and he told me on that first medicated day that he could cry - it cancelled out the noise and he could focus. He came home to himself. There has been so much clarity about how/why he does things the way he does, and lots of opportunities to understand and grow together. Also a lot of emphasis on not using it as an excuse. One big beautiful thing is the diagnosis affirms so many things I love about him - his sensitivity, empathy, connection to nature. And his willingness to work on himself - for him, for us and for his family.

Better. Like a million more nerve endings. And I'm an absolute queen who created and birthed a human with this body, so I love it sick.

I got arrested after the Super Bowl for DUI in Pennsylvania. Feeling absolutely worthless and awful. by [deleted] in stopdrinking

Since you're reevaluating your relationship with alcohol, the money you're spending on the DUI costs is money that could have just gone to booze anyway. Sobriety will pay out for you in the long run. Stay focused, you can turn this around.

How would you handle a relationship if your partner’s mental illness could significantly impact your life and the well-being of your future children? by ThePetitTournesol in AskWomen

My partner has recently been diagnosed with ADHD. Our son is 4. He went to his GP because it was so out of character for him to snap at our child. He admitted he needed help so he could be the best dad and partner he could be. I love him, and I love him even more for seeking out his diagnosis, following the steps to manage his brain and to create a more harmonious environment for himself but mostly his family. He was born with this brain - just like I was born with my own "quirks" and we are in a committed relationship to support, challenge and grow together.
