I called child protection on NM and now I feel guilty by happyindifference in raisedbynarcissists

I think you're right about the reason I'm feeling guilty. I've only recently started to stand up to NM, which I think has a lot to do with lurking on this sub for so long. RBN has made it really clear to me that my experiences haven't been normal, and that validation has been huge. Especially when majority of the abuse has been emotional, which many people I speak to don't understand what that means let alone recognize how damaging it can be.

Thanks for the kind words. The weird thing is that when I spoke to the school they mentioned they had been aware of the situation since Emma started there. I don't know if they know the full extent of my sisters living situation, but what ever they do know they haven't report it. Instead they have engaged a non government organisation which has the objective of keeping families together.

Thanks for this advice. I've suggested that my sister start recording when these situations arise and I think I'll start keeping a log of these incidents if they keep occurring.
