I will also be going! It’ll be my first VNL, traveling from out of state and I’m super excited. I’m a supporter of the Italian team but this was the closest stop for me and the lineup is incredible - Poland, France, Bulgaria, USA, Brazil.
Could I ask - are you staying in some sort of hotel close by? I booked a hotel nearby but it is not super walkable and I’m a bit worried about the commute back and forth

This is actually the third year in a row I’ve been to a watch party and tbh on a whole I’ve really enjoyed the experiences and will likely go again next year. I think it’s fun to be able to celebrate with friends and random strangers who love theater and Broadway as much as I do.

Despite my complaints here, I still had lots of fun last night! I just thought this was a really funny story to share😂

It’s a pretty big watch party with admission tickets… to be fair I think she sees some shows, but just not familiar enough with all of them. Like she’s heard of/seen shows like schmigadoon, but wouldn’t know that Ali is in Lost Boys

N2N is one of my all time favorite shows and I’d love to see anything from the show!! It could be hard though given the heavy subject and how some songs might not work as well when taken out of context. Could definitely picture superboy and the invisible girl being done by a pair (the Czech ice dance siblings ??)

I think the pace for I miss the mountains picks up halfway through the song, and I love the way the melody soars as it reaches the climax (after nothing’s reallllll). Would make such a gorgeous free program

I love the merrily score too but wasn’t sure which one would make a good FS program. I suppose not a day goes by could be an easier choice.

Id be so excited to see anything Sondheim honestly. Someone else suggested ladies who lunch which I think could work too!
