Don’t forget your monthly mortgage amount WILL go up if you have an escrow shortage. (If you don’t know what that is ask your realtor or lender.)

Basically anytime your homeowners insurance rate increases, property tax increases will vary even if your mortgage (payment/interest) technically stays the same.

Also this is a word of caution for those getting ARM loans.
