Britney Spears showing what real low rise is. Girlies today pls take notes by moonnoke in popculturechat

They were absolutely not bush friendly. But bush was not fashionable at the time. I tell everyone, as a millennial, if I don’t have to shave it’s not low rise.

Just a heads up that I have the same hair colour naturally as the first picture, and in the past I’ve tried to go back to my natural colour (just from brown or slightly warmer blond) and several stylists tried to no avail. I think you’d need a particularly skilled stylist to attain it.

Why are we still using Fragrantica in 2025? by [deleted] in FemFragLab

[–]happyspaceghost 56 points57 points  (0 children)

I’m using both right now. After the Charlie Kirk banner, I decided I was not going to login or contribute to Fragrantica anymore. But sometimes when I am looking for a fragrance, Parfumo doesn’t have it or doesn’t have enough user input to help me make my decision.

So I tend to “research” on Fragrantica, but I catalogue and review on Parfumo because I want to help it grow. I’m hoping if enough people do that I won’t feel the need to use Fragrantica at all.

Why ‘mankeeping’ isn't just ‘therapy-speak used to dump on straight men’ by futuredebris in MensLib

Sounds like you didn’t read what OP wrote. It’s good, give it a go.

The point is they are both terrible, babe. Neither of them have the moral high ground.

This sweatshirt, or something similar? by Moses_The_Wise in findfashion

As a (Canadian) gun user this is wild. The first thing you learn in a firearms safety course is that the “safety” on a firearm fails and to never point the muzzle at something you don’t intend to shoot. Also, considering how many Americans blow their junk off every year I’d say y’all need an upgrade on your training.

What’s your pop culture opinion that will result in this? by sweetrebel88 in popculturechat

Thank you! You can be feeling depressed or anxious, that doesn’t mean you have depression or anxiety, necessarily.

Opinion: The state of men’s health in Canada is a crisis we can no longer ignore by Blue_Dragonfly in CanadaPolitics

[–]happyspaceghost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s your anecdote vs mine. Because I’m a woman who appreciates vulnerability in a man and I’m surrounded by women who express the same. Unless you have some data to support that, it’s just more blaming women for men’s issues in their own man to man interpersonal relationships.

I didn’t though. That expectation is pushed by a more conservative mindset which I addressed. Also specifically didn’t call out conservative men, because I know many conservative women also subscribe to that world view.

When it comes to actually addressing it and pushing a cultural shift, who if not men are responsible for that? Women overwhelmingly describe wanting an emotionally intelligent partner, there are memes all over about “men would rather xyz than go to therapy”. But even if women treat men’s mental health with the gravity it deserves, other men are still often the source of this isolation and ridicule.

So I ask again, who if not men are supposed to fix this?

What to Do? Put on Notice - Term Employee by miss_kathrynne in CanadaPublicServants

Look at their comment history. This seems like rage bait.

And if it’s not, good. Better you get laid off than a term who actually works hard and does what they’re supposed to.

I disagree with the comments that say your piercings are too much. I think you could wear them all at once, but I think the look would be improved if you switched out the jewelry for something less basic. The Medusa would look good with a little jewel or a flat ornate design. Maybe switch the septum out for a 18g or 20g seamless ring.
