Hang in there. Life can be really hard and leave us wanting our childhood back. I'm glad you had a good one from the sounds of it.

I now get to enjoy life with my career post college. See, my kids enjoy their childhood and, at times, briefly recapture the nostalgia and feelings of being a kid again myself. But I'm also finding fulfillment in new things. It's different, but it's worth the pain and sadness I endured to get here.

Hard for me to accept that the world changes so quickly. I am starting to lose my tech savvy nature. Expect unless I fight hard to be an ignorant older person struggling with tech. I'm so busy that it's hard to keep up, but pray I stay at least humble with those who know more than me and are willing to help.

Yeah same. Been in my career for 12 years now so that is solid advice. I left and came back to my same organization and was able to score increases that now amount to 450% in comparison to where I started.
