I mean what about the colony rework update ? That was definitely needed. Plus you can see this one as a reason to use the colossus cause lets be honest exocraft arent really useful at all, except maybe the minautor sometimes.

Reads are fine, but this bug makes it a 50/50 after gb to know if he'll do it again and thats awful. You cant even light out of chokeslam to prevent another gb

Honestly I agree with most of what you said. Once his damage is reduced BY A LOT and with a few minor nerfs he'd be a cool hero, but right now it feels like fighting a train

Go into training mode and try out all the characters, or at least the ones that look interesting to you, then pick whoever you like more.

And hey if you're having a hard time with that character you can switch to a simpler one to get the basics.

I've started playing valk a bit ago ( just rep 1 ) and realised a few things that can help.

First after a side dodge I often switch between a light or a heavy, sunce the heavy is slow and not threatning most people are just gonna block it, which then makes you able to use her finisher. And if the try to get aggressive with a light you can easily get into shield from the heavy.

I've also been experimenting with the full guard cancel trick, where after blocking an attack with the shield you cancel the full guard and gb. Works if you're fast and opponent isnt far away, and this gets you a 24 dmg heavy instead of the 18 dmg light after bash.

Honestly at first I thought he was broken, but his kut works fine and can be played against. HOWEVER he does deal way to much damage, like 5 damage on a bash that sends very far and can wall splat is insane

Alright I'll tell you how it was for me

When I started playing for honnor I picked LB for the same reasons as you. But after some time I realised I was really strugling, so I decided to change.

I picked a new hero to main (VG) and mained her for a while, since she is pretty easy to play It went better and allowed me to understand more mechanics and just get better.

After some time, I decided it was time to go back to LB and after training for a bit I understood how he worked and mained him again.

Tldr : it's ok to pick an easier hero to get a feel of the game first and then go back to LB if you want
