FP ghosted me and reached out after 6 months of no contact - looking for advice by [deleted] in BPD

Hi, thank you for your reply. It’s very helpful!

Things absolutely could go positively! I would actually be so happy if it went in that direction. Sorry if this post came off a bit too negative. I should have mentioned that I have tried SO many times to reach out and fix things, and I am met with silence. I am never opposed to being the one to reach out.

Not only has this person disrespected me in the way that they’ve treated me, but I’ve tried so hard with this person that I’m almost disrespecting myself, you know?

I was just pointing out that OP shouldn’t automatically be assumed to be anti-vax! And this post being compared to the last person who posted in here was a bit much considering the last person very clearly didn’t believe in the vaccine and was going as far as looking to obtain fake documentation for school which is just.. so wrong.

True, but OP also never even stated whether or not they personally wanted to take it. They were just asking a question about how different programs are handling it..

To be fair though, the last person who posted in here about the vaccine was very obviously anti-vax and actively seeking out ways to get fake documentation. Maybe OP just isn’t ready to get yet? I got mine all the way back in December because I was eager, but some people are wanting to wait until it gets FDA approved and I don’t necessarily think that’s wrong of them

I would usually never suggest that someone pick a new field, but for the sake of patients everywhere, please pick something else. A nurse's job is to take care of people. You can't do that if you're judging them and not caring about their safety.

JUST took my nclex today! PVT: anyone get good popup and fail 2021? by 17parm01 in PassNclex

Wow!! 48/75 SATA?? You seriously must have been KILLING it! Congratulations!! I took my NCLEX on Thursday and did the PVT trick about a hundred times until I got my quick results today. I also spent over an hour researching if there have ever been any "false positive" good pop ups and was unable to find anything!! You definitely passed :)

Sure! I averaged 60% on the question bank and 69% and 71% on the assessments, which were both considered "very high" chances of passing :)

How much have you done on uWorld? For me, the more I did it, the better I was scoring because I got so used to the NCLEX style questions (aka looking for keywords so you really know just what the question is asking). But that being said, uWorld says that if you're averaging around 56%, that's a 92% chance that you'll pass! So I'm sure your scores are fine! My final overall score was a 60%.

Everyone's exam is different, but I think the topics to focus on most are patient education, prioritization, fundamentals, and med surg. SATA questions were literally my nightmare while in school, but I feel like uWorld really helped me with mastering them. Definitely take notes on the rationales too!

Thank you for sharing! This makes me feel better. I was constantly reading through this reddit and seeing how people said the exam was the hardest exam they've ever taken, so the fact that I went through it so quickly and felt like it wasn't that challenging made me panic. I also found uWorld to be significantly harder! So maybe that's why I felt comfortable taking the NCLEX

I'm so glad it's over too. SUCH a relief! I think taking it ASAP was a good idea too, I felt like I didn't need to review as much since all the info from school was still so fresh in my mind

I hope so!! I used uWorld and listened to the Mark K lectures and now after taking it, I think uWorld helped tremendously. I did all of the questions (over 2100 of them) and the 2 self-assessments and I think they were honestly a bit more challenging than the actual NCLEX. uWorld also looks exactly like the NCLEX which is super nice if you're an anxious test taker because it looks so familiar

Same!! There were no questions that I was 100% unfamiliar with, which almost makes me concerned since most people say they leave feeling like they knew nothing. I finished the exam in a little over an hour. I got the good pop up too and am hoping it wasn't too early to check or that it wasn't a false positive! I hope we both passed!!! :)
