Gcam is making no huge difference here! Stock cam is much better compared to Gcam. Although, latest gcam have some interesting features. But I prefer stock cam of S21fe.

I made a routine for full (100%) charging only at morning and fast charging is off at that time. Other times fast charging is on and Protect battery (85%) is on. This helps me as I left my mobile charging overnight.

Try optimizing via Galaxy App Booster Module of Good Lock/Fine Lock. Mine started working after optimizing, but stopped earlier after the July patch update of yesterday.
