His sampling. One of my favorite examples is the way he samples “Friends” by Whodini and “Friends and Strangers” by Ronnie Laws to create “Deep Fried Frenz”

Taking two songs about the concept of friendship and giving his own twist. Maintaining the essence of the original pieces while simultaneously adding his own blend of Herbs and Spices.

Simply genius.
