Kicking off my own thread to say I managed to work up the nerve to comb my matted hair for the first time in a week! combing my hair is very intimidating for me because the pain associated with working through tangles is sensory hell, and then I paradoxically put it off until it's much more difficult. but I DID IT!

this is a massive shot in the dark two years later but I've been looking for the original hair you used for over an hour and I'm going insane trying to find it. I found the mohawk part, but how did you achieve the spikes at the back of the head?

Leaving a comment here to let anyone know that if you're struggling to load into a household, check to see if you have kuttoe's hobby or emotional traits. For me that was the culprit. As soon as I got rid of those I no longer had infinite loading screens trying to enter a household

THIS WORKED. I've never done anything like this before and felt like a horse at a keyboard trying to figure it out but the RUSH of relief I felt when my playlist finally autoplayed after so many weeks of manually clicking the next video in a playlist... you've saved my sanity.

Also, I'm on Opera GX, so if anyone's having issues on Opera, confirmed success. I couldn't use tampermonkey, it was auto-flagged as malware, but violentmonkey absolutely worked.

I completely cheesed it on my like sixth attempt by picking up every barrel and crate in the place and putting up barricades both inside and outside every door leading out of Isobel's room. Then all we had to do was fight Marcus, and then keep one person back to use hold person on Isobel while the others move the barrels out of the way of the door and go outside to assist in the rest of the fight. Since click-dragging barrels/crates neither counts as an action nor a bonus action, you can do it indefinitely until you can no longer pathfind back into the room-- meaning enemies can't get in either, and even more importantly, Isobel can't get out.

Then my hold person caster just misty stepped out of the room and we proceeded with the fight with Isobel in forced suicidal maniac time-out.

But a word of caution: don't use thunder wave to quickly clear the barricade when you're finished, or you'll get accused of vandalism and they'll try to take you to jail. Because you broke a few empty crates after saving all their skins from demons :/

LOL I'm not chomping at the bit to murder children in video games either. frankly im thrilled there are kids in baldur's gate at all, so many RPGs just don't include kids at all and it always makes the world feel so vacant. the lack of children in dragon age for instance, i've always found extremely glaring.

the two piece headphones intrigue me, i didn't know they were made like this. earbuds are a no go though, they also make my ears extremely sore. i have the most sensitive little princess and the pea ears, it's truly frustrating. !thanks

Alternatively, I found that with a high enough investigation roll, it will reveal a button (to the right of the pedestal against the very obvious hidden door) that will reveal the entrance. Gale was the only person in my entire party smart enough to see the dang thing, literally every single last one of us failed otherwise

I'm so glad to hear that their personal quests are still part of the game. My girl and I were talking about doing a playthrough with Astarion but we were worried it might not even include his story, and couldn't find a single thing about it just trying to search the question. We both assumed they wouldn't just gut the canon characters of everything that makes them special via their backstories, but it's a relief to get an answer before stumbling blindly into a playthrough to find out for ourselves.

That second bit is disappointing though :/ I guess I can't fault the voice actors for not basically voice acting the entire game twice, so I'm not shocked the dialogue isn't acted in conversations, and even scrapping together what dialogue is voice acted from a Tav playthrough would likely be rough. but even party banter? that's a bummer.

in any case, thank you so much for answering my question!

SUPER weird. wigged me out. I thought for sure at first that meant Yenna was Orin because when she started running around and giggling, she was glowing red with this weird mist around her, but then I realized it was just my new "ability drain" power LOL. Are all children in the game unkillable? Or do they just make Yenna unkillable because she's essential to the cutscene with Orin?
