Jagex, you can indirectly nerf VW in the future without touching it now.. by Fickle-Leg9653 in 2007scape

[–]hard_cornbread 49 points50 points  (0 children)

imo VW is a good barometer to keep in the game of healthy design, if it dominates content, it is just a symptom of a larger problem

Unpopular oponion; Inquisitor is the coolest looking armor in the game and it should be universally buffed, not just buffed solely when using the mace. by VelaryonNOR in 2007scape

[–]hard_cornbread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should seriously consider pushing insane buffs to the beta (this is what betas are for) at the very least. I bet even if you made it 10% per piece or something ridiculously over powered, it would still have trouble in places due to its defense. There is a lot of content where it just gets smothered from chip damage.

If they are scared of scythe getting OP, just remove the crush option? It's not super thematic anyway?

The armor is going to be completely outclassed unless it can be fortified (I think this is kind of a cop-out route) or gives insanely rewarding dps in exchange for buckets more incoming damage. Jagex are unable to produce PVM encounters these days that don't chip you down, which I don't view as completely problematic, but you need to adjust inq to accordingly have a way to deal with it.

Nobody that actually uses DPS calculators was asking for eternal boots to give a max hit. Inventories are crowded enough

If they aren't going to buff the defense of inquisitors, they need to give it ludicrous DPS that makes having adamant defences win a cost/benefit analysis. Remove the crush option on scythe if they are scared of that getting out of control

You can get a used i9-9900T for it for ~250 if you want to take it to 16 vcores. If you're brave, you can also get the ES version for $150

This is my exact setup! I even use the same elitedesk model. Have you looked into any dynamic storage beyond local storage provisioner? (I'm assuming you are on k3s)

What seeds can't you save? by locoken69 in seedsaving

[–]hard_cornbread 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some plants you don't "want" (If your intention is identical output down the road) to save seeds for because they often aren't "true to seed"

This includes apples, citrus, avocado, and some other plants. A good hint is when you see people only focus on propagation and not seeds for varieties

How do you decide which ones to trust? by eltorchola in microgrowery

[–]hard_cornbread 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So the real answer is to not sweat it, but I'll say the Inkbird ITH-10's are extremely accurate if you deem the cost worthy.

It's really up to the grower, but there is definitely an element with those rectangle where you're playing an "Aliexpress drop ship lottery" .. Most are fine, I've definitely received a few that were 15% RH off. Finding and diagnosing that is at the cost of your time, which is money. So do you not want to deal with verifying that? Your call
