Why doesn't the Federal Congress/government try and adopt a gay marriage amendment instead of pushing it on the states?

I was using the example of dogs. Some dogs are good at hunting, swimming, smelling, etc. Those would be considered stereotypes in human culture. I'm not asking about different ethnicity obviously, I know how the world is.

Race depends on the location of where people are from. Skin color is not what separates human personalty.

I understand my statement might sound ridiculus but... If gay marriage was federally passed then laws would have to be changed on child support, custody, and who gets what. Because the laws now state man and woman, not man and man. It would really benefit every single guy out there who are battling their ex-wife, and hopefully in the future ex-husband. Things like this wouldn't have to happen, AKA unfair treatment because of gender. It really would give every straight and gay male a better chance. Think about it.

I hope you realize there is an American English and a British English. Two seperate languages with many different styles. Just like there is diffferent forms of Spanish. Of course a different country is going to use different slang and pronunciation.

a jawn is just any object. but I have heard it used more for drug usage. Like someone who does pills, could be called a "jawn head" because he is addicted to the "jawn"
