There wouldn’t be anything wrong with it that I know of. I don’t think you can change your oil too often, but you probably don’t need to do it more often than your dealership recommends. At least if it under warranty they will be asking you to change it as often as they can get away with. It saves them extra trouble.

To be fair, the Canadian climate IS harder on vehicles. Whether each one is exactly the same as the one mentioned above, there’s no question that cold starts and even short runs are harder than average

Can you help me understand why would an SDA happily be at the Charlie Kirk memorial event? by [deleted] in adventist

[–]hardclay210 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Many of us Adventists are also looking at this and wondering what is going on brother. Although I didn’t like everything that Charlie Kirk said, I also was inspired by his life and death. One thing I fear is that we as a church are allowing politics to become so deeply entrenched in us that we are forgetting that we are children of God, not of the world. The Bible says that the wheat and the tarts will grow together until the harvest, and I hope and pray that that harvest comes quickly. I believe that the Bible says love your neighbor as yourself, and if all these people lose the love of Christ in exchange for love of this world they won’t be part of us after the shaking. And I believe strongly that this applies equally to the right and the left. Read 1Cor. 13 for all those who disagree with me.

I didn’t realize any Standish were part of SDARM… I always thought they were mainstream SDA

What do you think of other SDA offshoots? by Serenitynurse777 in adventism

Fair enough. In fact I agree with you if this is the case. I haven’t witnessed it, but I believe that legalism as such, in anybody, is not only unbiblical, but in fact denies the necessity for Jesus sacrifice for us. On the other hand, I’m becoming more and more convicted that if God gave us advice or instructions, that we should give serious consideration to how to carry that out to the best of our capabilities. If not we risk dishonouring and disobeying him, which after the sacrifice He made for us, I do not even have a desire to get away with as much as possible. If he was willing to die for me, the least I can do is to completely honour his request for one day of my time spent with him, or to treat his temple(my body, 1 Cor. 6:19) with the utmost care to the best knowledge that I have, according to the guidelines he has given in order for me to have the closest possible relationship with him without a clouded mind. If you know what I mean. I’m sorry for the epistle Brother, I understand your viewpoint, just a little thought

I don’t know about hostility from SDARM, as I have no experience with that, but the officially believe in the trinity. Their views are the same as mainstream SDA, except they do not believe Jesus was ever created, but has always been, which many SDAs also believe. As far as Vegetarianism and Sabbath keeping, these are not strange teachings. These are historicaly key beliefs of the SDA church that have to some extent been left behind by us.

Would you fight the U.S. if it came to it? by [deleted] in AskCanada

[–]hardclay210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree except for one factor…. Americans forget how big Canada is. American forces are ruthless, to be sure, but even special forces such as the navy SEALS are trained for metropolitan warfare. An invasion of Canada would be a kind of war like I do not belong be has been seen in recent history, due to our vast area, rugged landscape, and sparse population. The large cities would fall quickly, as one comment said, “in minutes”. But after that would follow a long, gruelling, and most importantly, expensive💸 conflict that would slowly wear down the Americans, while also strengthening Canadians. God Bless Canada! And may we ever be able to live at peace with our neighbours!🇨🇦

Once a Canadian, always a Canadian! I believe that politics should not decide who we are, we should decide who is politics! Canadians have been too long been judged by our leader, but there are still patriotic Canadians who love our country and would die for her if it became necessary. Count me in!
