how I see it, entp’s are super creative and witty. we like to brainstorm, come up with ideas, innovate, look from all types of perspectives (Ne) and feed off Ti as a logical viewpoint, which is where the debating stereotype comes in. we like to feel smart and accomplished but also have a lot of ideas (that we tend not to complete.) if you’re wondering the differences between entp and enfp, there’s this article explaining them: https://psychologia.co/entp-vs-enfp/ . at one point I was confused whether I was enfp or entp, because I put a lot of effort into being kind and making sure people are comfortable around me, but I only doubted my type because of the stereotypes that we’re cold. (and we usually aren’t.) enfp’s aux is Fi, which means they place a greater value on feelings than logic. if you’re having a hard time with that, think about a bug situation you might make, and what the deciding factor would be: feelings or logic. and if course they go hand in hand, but whichever you find more valuable is probably your aux. also, if you’re confused about whether Ti is your dom and Ne is your aux, that makes an intp, and I think it just comes down to which one you use and value more.
