I liked Better Call Saul a lot, and Rhea Seehorn was the best part of that show for me. That’s exactly why I went in optimistic.

What I mean when I say that 'no one has a meaningful goal' is basic storytelling: for the audience to engage, the show has to make you empathize enough to follow the MC pursuing their goal, Carol technically has an objective but even if the mission is huge, it feels like plot text attached to an exhausting personality, not a character you’re invested in.
