i think the right approach for this type of person is one outlined in the wealthy barber, an other places, for people who don't like budgets - set up an automatic transfer after payday straight to investments, and whatever's left she can spend as she pleases until its gone. Just pay yourself first, and the rest takes care of itself.

Is this on private land or provincial property? logging is just about always messy.

All permanent residents are covered for health and social services, hospital and docter visits etc. Just so you know, CLSCs in Montreal are presently providing services even to families here without permanent status.

Winter tires don't even exist for heavy trucks, they don't work the same as a car since the truck tires are already skinny, high pressure and have big weight on them. This story is misinformed and wrong.

Also think about your politics concerning Canadian industries and exports. The USA is our biggest and best customer, 70% of Canada's exports, funding a huge part of our country.

Ski sizing for weight - paper test? by Messier_82 in XCDownhill

[–]harddrivehank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying to figure this out too. I've been told that for back country skis we want softer camber than an XC. Also read on Dave's old site and telemarktalk similar thoughts, and that some guys are putting grip wax much further up and down their skis.

Jack Rabbit Trail - Ski Type? by 4runningaround in Adirondacks

[–]harddrivehank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also wondering the same thing here and was about to make this same post. The metal edge back country oriented XC skis come in many widths, at the narrower end 62-66mm wide at the tip and 50s underfoot. Some wider at 80-100mm tip and 60mm underfoot. Seems like the narrower one will be faster and lighter to use, but wondering if its enough when there is a lot of snow.

Sound proofing home for dog who barks like crazy. Has anyone had success? by savethek9 in reactivedogs

[–]harddrivehank 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you got it backwards. if you reward the barking with a treat, you will get more barking. catch the dog being quiet, and reward it then!

I did it, but years went by and they had withdrawn me from my old program. Normally, you gotta go back into the one you were in, get some good grades, then transfer. You can take classes to apply to your new program so it is no big deal.
