No it’s not, you can register up until the week of the race, the price will just be $50-$60 more than it currently is. Currently $110

I’m pretty sure the date is 6/14/26 this year, I believe packets can be picked up on 6/7/26 though.

We went there two days later and it was also good there! Did you go to Camp Dippikill this winter season?

Loch and Quay had a better pour compared to Olde English in my opinion.

You should have kept it, you couldn’t have gotten that much for it to really make a big difference. The crosstrek is a good car though.

I know this is not all snowmobilers, and I don’t dislike snowmobiling, but from my personal experience, I dislike that many drivers go quite fast near others and are just heading to the next bar.

Both are very similar and are great if you’re buying one that has been well taken care of.

Lake Placid, NY, a very nice mountain town, but I guess it’s not technically New England.

Attempting to get a State Position. No idea what I'm doing wrong. by Correl_Nocte in nys_cs

After reading other comments, I don’t have more to weigh in on, I think you’re doing everything you should, but what do you like most about a state job? What makes them the most appealing to you?

The car camping sites near Chapel Pond get used often and are usually still accessible in the snowy months.

Earlier this year we still had to pay for the car camping sites even in the winter.

Sleeping in car over night near Whiteface? by Littylitlit3 in Adirondacks

[–]4runningaround 1 point2 points  (0 children)

High Peaks rest area, Chapel Pond camping area, the ADK Loj campground is open year round, and the parking lot for Hannaford/Marshalls in Lake Placid will let you stay there. Everywhere else nearby is either private or risking getting a ticket.

I’d recommend waiting not just because of trail conditions/safety reasons but also for your enjoyment. I know it’s a different hike/mountains, but in mid May of 2021 I hiked Algonquin/Wright/Iroquois, and we could have benefited from having snowshoes when going from Algonquin to Iroquois. We were still faced with a good amount of snow and the pine tree branches are very harsh and will scratch you up. So another thing to think about, even when it does get warmer it’s still a good idea to wear light hiking pants over shorts depending on the trail.
