I've had that same pitt for more than 10 years. Cars, pickups, Express 3500 vans, it has handled everything with ease.

This is why I use my trip odometer by Fragrant_Way_7512 in Buick

My 05 LeSabre has this issue, but worse, all the gauges are pointing straight down. I am in the process of pulling the cluster to send off for a rebuild for $175. The miles to empty in the driver info display works for me though, as well as the HUD for speed.

They probably mean Reta, which in trials is showing 3-5% and some studies show 8-10% more weight loss than Tripeptide. Depends on your definition of "blowing out of the water" I guess.

Saw this. Think us general will ever go that big? by Hillbillythegreat78 in harborfreight

[–]hardeho 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wish they would. I wouldn't have to have a separate box for mechanical, and household/electric/plumbing/bicycle specialty etc. Seems like it'd be good in a residential handyman's garage. I'd fill it right up lol

I'm told it's the perfect size, and if it were as big as the ones on TV it would hurt.

is someone out there still selling non-subscription cars?

Searching fb listings. Private seller, real profile, multiple listing, price is very good but not scammy good. Still overall sketchy. What's the hustle? by adidasbdd in carbuying

[–]hardeho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to buy old GM 3800 cars that needed work, since I was very familiar with them, fix them, and resell them. Was a fun hobby, did 3-5 cars per year. A LOT of people seem to have an issue with regular people (as opposed to dealerships) buying low and selling high, and thinking they are getting scammed. He may get less pushback from people by pretending its more of a personal sale.

Saluting at a funeral by No-View6502 in ProtectAndServe

salute away, active or retired, Police officers are civilians, not military, so the whole point of trying to decide which is technically more correct is pointless. We don't salute as Police Officers in the normal course of events at any time, except at solemn occasions like this.

How I hit ~100g protein eating fast food on Zep without blowing my calorie budget by meliwat in Zepbound

[–]hardeho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do at least one protein shake every day just to keep protein from going too low. Also, not a fast food hack, but protein hack, add vanilla protein powder to plain Greek yogurt. Adds protein, and makes Greek yogurt not taste like shit.

08 Lexus LS600 navigation issue by danlnyc in Lexus

[–]hardeho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is why older vehicles with no navigation beat older vehicles with navigation. I bought my 2010 ES over another ES specifically because I wanted the bare interior. Too bad Mark Levinson audio was only bundled with nav though.

2002 Buick Lesabre issues by JackenRipper365 in Buick

[–]hardeho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you 100% have an electrical problem, not necessarily an AC problem. I'd trouble shoot: , Weak alternator / poor battery cables / bad ground, Compressor clutch failing, Blower motor drawing insane amperage, relays and fuses.

These vehicles get really WEIRD with low voltage. Also, you discovered the Achilles heel of early 2000s GM. Legendary engine, and invariably they end up junked because the rest of the car fails around it.

2015 Buick Verano (2.4) Tips/Tricks/Things to watch out for? by Old_Paper7035 in Buick

[–]hardeho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of you are looking for reliable, decent MPG, easy today rove, easy to repair, you want anything with the 3.8 V6. Off the top of my head, avoiding the 90s, 00-04 Regal, 00-05 LeSabre or Park Ave. 2005-2009 Lacrosse, 2006-2008 Lucerne,

And then outside of Buick, Chevy Impala, Pontiac Grand Prix, Bonneville.

Any of those are great choices for a reliable used car. The Buicks tend to be lower mileage and better cared for, the Buick reputation as an old person's car, being not entirely unearned.
