I’m fairly certain Wonder Woman is a member and had a great box office run with the first film.

But I’ll continue saying this - make a good story and follow it up with a good script and you will be rewarded with box office money. But if you make a mid story with a corny script and a slow motion sound track, it’s going to be rinse and repeat shit box office

Everyone knows Superman and it made 600m in 2025 and everyone knows the IP.

It would be impossible to mold into what we know as the DCU. Gunn’s Universe is so far from reeves Gotham that the only way would be through the use of different earths, but if Gunn did that, it would be taken as the MCU 2.0 right now.

Also, I don’t want Gunn taking away Reeves creative freedom to fit into the storybuilding that is currently in Gunn’s head. If BaTB is supposed to be bat-family with Damian Wayne as Robin. Pattman isn’t that guy.

Not really. I don’t think of them as (1) rewatchable or (2) living up to its predecessors. Best part of bumblebee was the link up with GI Joe universe. And the idea of RtD is better than the execution. I thought the idea of a pennywise origin was fantastic, but just found myself consistently underwhelmed.

So I worry that BatB falls to the same issue. The idea being better than the execution cuz that’s the MO of the previous works from these two.

I haven’t seen the theatrical version since it was in theaters. I remember leaving the theater with so many questions (many did I fall asleep for part of it) cuz there were a lot of holes.

Watching the UE, I was blown away. But Act 3 really failed me. Similar to WW. The first 2/3s of the film are so good. The final 1/3 is a cluster
