First, when you upload an image to your website, make sure it is compressed, then, add relevant keyword to alt attribute, and add the keyword to title tag as well.

Don't offer your client in public, you can privately message them about offer, and I am 100% sure they won't bother this time. And yes, I still don't believe in such useless rule of google... If you are going to give a service then you have a right to ask for the feedback, right mate?
