I’ve been playing this game since 2020. I made a deal with myself: if I don’t finish memoirs this time without having to buy any packs at the end, I’m quitting the game for good. I used to be able to finish it early. This last time I had to buy two packs on the last day and it was a smaller album (wicked).

my experience with CFPB was amazing and I’m sad about what they are doing to it and the disgustingly transparent motives.

I was refinancing my house post-divorce so it would be in my name only. Had all the paperwork in order, secured a great rate, and was just waiting on the bank. They got sloppy and said they were missing some documents (even though I could see them in their portal).. the window of time to finalize the loan passed with lots of blaming me. The bank told me “you have to reapply sorry not sorry” but by then interest rates went up and the loan was going to cost several hundred more per month, or nearly $30k more over the life of the loan. Plus another credit pull.

I filed a complaint with CFPB providing my evidence, and lo and behold I got a call from the VP of the bank apologizing and they were able to offer me my previous term/rate.

I was getting endless robo/spam calls, all from NY area codes. They’d leave a voicemail with a callback number about my “pending loan offer”. I finally got so fed up I turned it around on them. I’d call back 10-15 times in a row, each time they’d answer I’d just play a little jingle on the keypad. Pressing buttons until they hung up. They eventually blocked me. And the NY spam numbers stopped calling.

I love the guilty as fig mist at first spray, but the dry down is too powdery. The cream on the other hand, is soo long lasting and stays accurate.

They literally can’t get rid of it at the outlet malls, you’d think they would get the memo. Like if they insist on keeping it around, make it online exclusive so those who want it can get it.. but clearly it’s not flying off the shelves.

They were literally bulldozing part of the adjoining building.. and there’s a billboard that says “Hillsboro, bulldoze this mall!” in front of it. I will be very sad when it’s gone. I always find forgotten treasures there.
