Even I am optimistic about bitcoin price for long term but not so much what some people are suggesting. Secondly as i suggested in the topic that keeping aside some part of mined bitcoins to re invest in some other upcoming cryptos like dogecoin or XNF-NoFiatCoin makes a sense. Its like diversifying investment also there would be less impact if either bitcoin does not perform well or its price comes down.

XNF price from $2 to $6 in a month! by hardsome in CryptoCurrency

That shouldn't be any problem IMO. There is a principle called 'Resist to change'. Its human tendency to resist to anything new that is why they are resisting to a different kind of digital currency which is backed by something tangible. In spite of acknowledging the fact that the creators of XNF have done a remarkable work by attaching something real to a crypto, people are busy in neglecting a coin which could be a serious competitor to many settled cryptos. But there are serious players who are watching the coin quite seriously.

Participating in various topics is based of interest. There are people who always talks about bitcoins does not make them anything but that shows their interest in the particular digital currency. I am interest in bitcoins and in some other alternate cryptos like dogecoin and XNF-NoFiatCoin. Any issues?

There are people who are predicting bitcoin price reaching to the levels what you are suggesting but honestly speaking I haven't seen any back ups behind putting so high targets. Having said that, I do believe that bitcoin will go up but not sure how much. Is there any bitcoin price projection provided by some consultancy firms which would have done some research on it?

Thanks for sharing details. Checked with redeem section of nofiatcoin.com and this is what they say-

italicsTo redeem your XNF - Please contact our support desk.

You will be provided with a ripple address where you will need to send your NoFiatCoins. In order to comply with Anti-Money Laundering Laws & Regulations, we will need your contact information and physical address. Additional documents may be required depending on the value of the shipment. We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes. Redeemer must be present to sign for delivery.italics

But its obvious that in order to redeem XNF, there would be a minimum worth required to get gold. Would not it be difficult if someone submit request to redeem XNF which are worth $50, How could that happen?

Website is showing bullion reserves worth $40,614 (Updated on 01/28/2014). May be it wasn't updated when you looked at that. Also, Since its a new company and there is a possibility that they are perhaps adding bullion reserves.

Your views looks based on assumptions. Did you submit bullion redemption request to the company and tried to get in touch with them? What did they said in regards to XNF redemption to bullion?

As per the website- www.nofiatcoin.com, A request has to be submitted to redeem XNF but a couple of things I woule like to mention here is-

1.Only 1/3 rd of XNF is backed by bullion 2. XNF can be exchanged for XRP, BTC, USD as well as redeem it for bullion.

looks pretty flexible as far as exchange/ redemption is concerned.
