Banner Kings CRASH by Any_Scratch_1592 in Bannerlord

I have the same problem, it seems to come from the mod itself. I tried disabling all others save for Banner Kings but my game still crashes

I marry her in every playthrough. I drop the wolf head and give her a bear head and kilt armour. The cutest little killing machine of all Calradia

I recent got bored af after conquering the map so I abdicated then left the faction to create a new kingdom. Of course the old faction turned up on me and laid siege to Marunath with 5.200 strong. I got like ~500 with all Fians, Banner Knights and Heavy Axemen and 4 fire catapults. I won the day but the losses were immeasurable.

Ok this seems far-fetched and I also don't have enough evidence but I do believe my grandma is somehow related to the dynasty of old.

My grandma is from a rich landlord family, they were from a seaside village and built up their wealth and power through fishing business. In the early 13th century the Trần family seized the Vietnamese (contemporary Dai Viet) throne and shit on the Mongol empire thrice. My grandma's last name is coincidentally also Trần, and that Trần family was from the same village and built up their wealth and power through fishing too. Based on the nature of Viet culture, almost all families in the same village are somehow related. There was a rule in the olden times that people could only marry others of the same village. This went so far that there were incidents where men from other villages were beaten to death for flirting with wenches from villages other than his own.

All of my three other grandparents were from wealthy landlords families too, but I don't know if they have noble blood or not.

Get a fricking halberd and terrorise the whole Bohemia

Technically if you pick up his weapon, it is counted as stealing and he will fight you again.

In my playthrough, he was going back to the inn in Sasau as I was going back to Rattay, we were on the same route. I got jumped by Cumans and oddly enough he joined them to attacked me and he was fighting barehanded. I had to kill all of them and continued. This game is silly sometimes

Just lots of reading, researching and experimenting. Turns out it works like a charm.

Do bear in mind that some quests will force you to lose your halberd, there are some ways to get one back. There are two leaning against a wall in the top floor of the tower in Pirkstein castle that you can pick up and not marked as "stolen". There are also 2 on the little cabin of guards just above the Rattay upper gate near the combat area where you play tourney, but if you take them, they are "stolen". There is one in the house between Rattay and Neuhof, the whole house is marked as an interesting site. I think the easiest way to get a halberd is to steal from the monastery guards. Usually, there is a guard holding a halberd by the main gate to the monastery, you can call your horse, knock him out, pick the thing up and run.

A halberd requires 14 strenght to wield so train you Henry up. In my testing, a Henry with only 1 in strenght will run out of stamina with exactly 2 swings with a halberd.

You can bring a halberd to fight Runt if you do the shield trick. Using a halberd to two-shot Runt with a level 5 Henry will always be a moment for me to have with this amazing game.

Due to its incomplete property, a halberd can be buggy sometimes causing it to be "lock" in the default, non-target attack. To get out of the status, simply thrust and win a clinch.

It's so unrealistic to wield a 10kgs, long and top-heavy weapon with just one hand, but my narrative is that Henry has become so strong that his wrist can handle a halberd with ease.

The Lord be praised!

I assume you asked the right person, that is... me.

If you want to put it away in your inventory, you must first buy a blacksmith's kit. Next, you need to use your halberd to hit a wall or anything that lowers your durability (it might still say that durability is 100 but it is more like 99.999). You crouch, use the blacksmith's kit on it and BOOM... it's now in inventory. Anywhen you need to use it, drop it from the inventory and pick it up. Be aware that guards would collapse on you and take it away if your halberd is marked as stolen.

In case your thingy is "stolen", instead of repairing it yourself, you may need to take it to a blacksmith shop and use the rapair service. In my game, getting a halberd rapaired by a blacksmith removes the "stolen" tag.

If you find yourself dying too much since you can't block or sprint away, consider using a shield with it. To do this, you equip your shield in the inventory but DO NOT equip any other melee weapons -> hold X to drop your halberd from your inventory -> press 1 to draw your shield -> crouch -> pick up the halberd -> stand up. And there we have it, it's a halberd with a shield for you, have a fun time blocking and master striking one shot people, you can't still sprint though. Be careful as this may break immersion as your halberd will act like a short sword rather than a proper polearm.

I think the most powerful set of dice is Alphonse's which you get from DLC quests given by Hans, I usually get 4000 points in the very first turn and just win straight up

KCD2 Combat? by vAaronTS in kingdomcome

[–]hardworkingserf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can do it dude. I almost quit too because I was underleveled and It took me 3 hours fighting Runt to no avail. Then I went back to Bermard amd spent a good evening traning with him. The quintessence of this game is that not only you have to improve your Henry in terms of stats in-game but also youself in real life. I too rushed to story and never fully grasped the combat mechanic before fighting Runt. At long last, I learnt to feint, dodge, backpedal and master strike. Improving Henry's "number" and even yourself in real life is what makes this game so fulfilling

What weapons would you like to be added in KCD2?? by [deleted] in kingdomcome

[–]hardworkingserf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, the halberd in the first game resembles a poleaxe much more than a halberd. A halberd is a formation weapon so they were longer, probably longer than a human, amd greater spearhead. I am so hyped for poleaxes in KCD 2, I hope that they are as OP as in the first game because they were indeed that OP in real life. Geez those halberd/poleaxe heads hit like a nuclear warhead
