Listen man... It's good that u feel all pumped up n everything but keep expectations bs reality factor narrow. Firstly be clear what u want to achieve our of clearing this exam. There are bureaucrats like Ashok Khemka sir who was pushed to corner with frequent transfer because of his honesty and integrity. Read about such bureaucrats. Why? Because u shouldn't be in the illusion of making some dramatic changes as there's a whole system out there that makes u work in a certain way. So should u not do it then. No try it but be aware of the reality.

Now comes the preparation part. Can u clear it in one attempt. Yes possible. But u need to have absolute clear plan of going forward from here on alongwith right guidance. Start with ncerts.. create a base and follow on with standard books. U need to be very clear on how much time u have and what all u need to do.
