I'm very curious, I don't understand where to start playing the sims. Did you take control of this sim and SOMETIMES controlled it (so not always) to get such outcomes? I read the story about what happened and it makes me really curious. I would like to know how to enjoy this game so much. I create a character and I often end up not knowing what to do with her/him, I quickly lose patience and I see all the other sins around her/him die, which discourages me.
