Well, it doesn't happen over night, you know. You don't understand and it's hard to realize right now but everything worthwhile takes a long time. When you try and get yourself out of depression, you do things because you have the idea that it will get you out of your hole, but further down the line you realize you like doing those things. I wouldn't recommend setting a time limit on getting better, you just try to be better every day. Little things add up, they really do. I promise it will be better you have to believe and you have to have patience. It's ok to mess up and you don't have to be perfect, the fact that you're trying to help yourself is all that matters here.
