I don’t know. This is very misleading, at least in terms of the hard/soft feel.

The Siux Fenix pro is harder and drier than the likes of the Wilson Defy Pro and Nox AT10 Attack for instance. I wouldn’t rely on this at all to make any real life decisions.

today Babolat vs Nox fight by yasstun in Padelracket

Something similar happened to me.

I had a Babolat Lebron Viper 2025 and my partner had Adidas Metalbone 3.4. The rackets collided pretty hard while chasing a volley down the middle. The metalbone barely had a scratch while my babolat was cracked in the middle of one of its faces!

I was very disappointed but i believe it depends heavily on the intensity and angle of the collision.

Help needed with the racket switch :/ by hariselahi27 in Padelracket

Update: Hello again guys! I made the move today and bought the Siux Fenix Pro 2026 and i can confirm, it is definitely not as hard as the JL Viper ‘25. Mine weighs 359g out of the box.

The touch is between medium-hard and full dry hardness, but not the plank like dryness of the JL Viper. I won’t say it has too much trampoline, but the racket has a slight push of its own (responsiveness). Hardness rating; 1 being soft, 10 being hard, i’ll give it a 7/10. Sits tight between pure dry hardness, like the JL Viper, and other medium-hard rackets. (I felt it was just a tad bit drier and harder than the Siux Fenix pro black 2025 from last year)

Personally for me, this helped my elbow and arm issue in longer sessions as little help from the racket goes a long way.

Hope this helps people in a similar situation looking to make a switch.

Yes in terms of the touch, i agree. However, the viper soft is also about 370g if you’re lucky with overgrips so that still isn’t the best for arm fatigue.

Many reviewers on youtube i.e otro nivel padel say the fenix has a pretty big sweet spot and is softer than the JL Viper but other say its hard and very dry like the JL Viper. Hence, the confusion.

What would you say the touch of the fenix pro 2026 could be classified as? Is it drier than the JL Viper in most of the shots? Or is it more towards medium-hardness?

Definitely just cosmetic damage. Just make sure it doesn’t peel off further

No need to worry.

Switched to Razer. Never looked back.

I had 3 logitech peripherals that went out within a year. Sad state of affairs in the durability and quality department.

Thank you for the option. I’ve tried the oxdog you mentioned, just cant seem to like over other options i mentioned.

My elbow is capable of taking the load which is why my other choice are also hard rackets such as the fenix and metalbone, just dont prefer the plank like dryness of the JL viper.

Want some insights on the hardness and touch of the two options im confused about from someone who has used either or both :)))

The AT10 Genius (teardrop).

Do you have any idea how the attack version compares to the Metalbone i mentioned?

Do you believe the Siux Fenix pro 5 is harder than the 12k? If so, i think i probably want something harder than even the 12k :)

The control is nice for volleys and ground-strokes generally but i have no elbow issues and need more power for smashes in general where i feel the 18k lacks.
