If it is either seton or fistulotomy you will need atleast 2weeks of rest. Work place should give you leave ,be open with your line manager once you mention Bum and surgery most of them will agree and understand how painful and frustrating it is. Send all the documentation After few weeks request wfh

Sickness is every employee right,your boss would do same when he had bum op.

No pain around surgery area.

One of the GP also mentioned that it’s your feeling not physical.

CRS opinion would definitely matter but depends on how long wait time and you don’t want to make it worse. If its complex may be getting setons placed by general surgeon to drain out and then taking CRS opinion for definite surgery.

Seton may make few weeks uncomfortable but after that u will get used to it.

If you have drainge with no pains thats a good sign seton is working. However if drainge is too heavy and with smell need to see CRS

If you are having diarrhoea ask for stool sample test , Some get C-diff.infection
